I graduated in June with a degree in geography, GIS, and resource management. I have had an ongoing interest in nursing, but I chose to pursue something else. Now that I have graduated I want to return to school to become an RN. The schools nursing acceptance guidelines do not state anything about desiring people who already have an education. My questions is, how closely do they typically follow their guidelines? Will my already having a degree help me get into a competitive nursing program?
